We visited BENE BENE Waffle & Ice Cream last Saturday while Newmarket was hosting its final summer street festival. The shop was very busy, but everything was handled so well. The ice cream was absolutely delicious—rich in flavor and perfectly refreshing—and the décor created a cozy, relaxed atmosphere that made it a pleasant place to sit down. Even though the staff were working nonstop during the rush, they still stayed friendly, polite, and welcoming. A wonderful experience overall—we’ll definitely come back again!

I was visiting Main Street in Newmarket and noticed this new cafe/ ice cream shop and decided to give Bene Bene Waffle & Ice Cream a try. I tried their Tiramisu Matcha Iced Latte. The matcha iced latte tasted good (overall I'm not a huge matcha fan, but this tasted smooth and blended), and the presentation was very pretty. Service was very friendly and prompt and the shop is located at the popular Main Street in Newmarket. Thank you

Excellent service! The new owners are very kind and welcoming. Their hotteuk (like a pancake filled with a sweet paste) was really good and I think it'd pair really well with ice cream! Definitely worth giving it a try.

I have never run to reviews so fast: their hotteok is LIFE AFFIRMING. I haven’t found a good version since my trip to Seoul several years ago - but Bene Bene makes them fresh to order and the filling is exactly the messy cinnamon honey sugary goodness I fell in love with in South Korea. Get this. You will love it.

This is a family runs Ice cream and dessert place that has a simple but stylish decorations. They offer different types of ice cream, drinks, coffee, tea, bubble tea and Korean style desserts. A very nice place for friends and families gathering. You can sit by the large window and enjoy the street view while enjoying your ice cream. Nice service, good quality sweet. Highly recommend.

Charming cafe right in the heart of Newmarket’s Main Street! The desserts were delicious, and the coffee was rich and flavorful. I had the Hotteok, which was made fresh to order—warm, sweet, and the perfect pairing with my coffee. Everyone in our group loved their treats and drinks. Cozy atmosphere, great service, and quality food. I’ll definitely be coming back, and I highly recommend it!

The Injeolmi Latte was honestly the best latte I’ve ever had! I’ve never tasted anything like it before. The foam on top was absolutely delicious. If you take a sip of the coffee through a straw and then scoop up the foam, it feels like a taste of heaven. The croffle was perfectly crisp on the outside and chewy on the inside. For ice cream, I chose the cappuccino flavor, and if you’re a coffee lover, you won’t regret it at all. Definitely give it a try!

I had the strawberry croffle with maple walnut ice cream and a matcha latteThe staff was very kind and gave me a great recommendation! Matcha latte had the gooood flavor i love and the croffle was perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside The strawberries were fresh and the maple walnut ice cream was deliciousThe plates were cute, and the interior was cozy and nice Id love to come back again!
